2025 has been a remarkable year for the Zoho CRM team, and we at PFC Group are excited to bring you the highlights of what’s new and improved. As Zoho’s trusted partner, we keep a close watch on every update to ensure our clients get the most out of their CRM. This quarter is packed with powerful features designed to streamline sales, boost collaboration, and redefine user experience.

Let’s take you through the latest developments in Zoho CRM for Q2 2025.

Sales Force Automation – Smarter, Faster, and Easier

Zoho CRM has always focused on making sales operations seamless. This quarter, the focus is on helping teams sell more effectively while spending less time on administrative tasks.

Zoho CRM For Everyone – A New Way to Work Together

One of the biggest announcements is Zoho CRM For Everyone, a feature that takes collaboration to the next level.

Sales isn’t just the job of one team. Marketing, support, finance, legal, and even procurement often play critical roles in closing a deal. Zoho CRM For Everyone connects all these departments in one place, ensuring that everyone involved has real-time visibility and can contribute effortlessly.

This update introduces a range of tools that enhance cross-team collaboration and help businesses create a unified customer journey from the very first interaction to the final sale.

Advanced CPQ for Personalized Quotes

The Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) feature in Zoho CRM already makes quoting faster and smarter. Now, new enhancements have been added to make quote customization even more powerful.

Dynamic Actions in Product Configurator: You can now add multiple base products in a single quote, apply different quantity rules, and configure values specific to each product.

Cloning Price Rules: Instead of building pricing rules from scratch, you can duplicate existing ones, tweak them slightly, and deploy variations quickly.

This saves time for sales teams and ensures customers always get tailored, accurate pricing.

Structured Notes for Better Team Collaboration

Notes have always been a simple yet vital tool in Zoho CRM. But now, they’ve received a major upgrade.

With rich text formatting, teams can create structured, detailed notes with options like bold, italics, bullet points, numbered lists, background colors, links, and even emojis. This makes notes more insightful and easier to read, helping teams collaborate without missing key details.

Artificial Intelligence – Zia Gets Smarter

Zoho’s AI assistant, Zia, continues to evolve with some game-changing updates.

In-House LLM for Secure AI Features

Zoho has rolled out its own large language model (LLM) to power AI features within CRM. This means businesses can now use AI-driven insights without relying solely on external providers like OpenAI.

Features like Smart Prompts—used for drafting emails, summarizing notes, or pulling record-specific details—are now powered by Zoho’s secure, in-house AI engine. For those who still want OpenAI integration, Zoho allows it with your own key.

Churn Prediction with Usage Data

Predicting customer churn is critical for retaining clients. Zia now goes beyond analyzing CRM interactions—it can process usage data from external tools via APIs or files stored in custom modules.

This allows businesses to feed real-world customer behavior into Zia for more accurate churn predictions, helping teams take proactive steps to retain high-risk customers.

User Experience – A Design-First Approach

Zoho CRM has always stood out for combining power with simplicity. This quarter, several UX-focused updates have been introduced to make the platform more intuitive.

Canvas Flex – Adaptive Views for Teams

Canvas, Zoho’s drag-and-drop customization tool for CRM layouts, now has a new component called Flex.

Flex lets you create layouts that automatically adjust to different screen sizes and resolutions. Whether your team is working on laptops or mobile devices, data will display neatly without breaking the design.

Better Wizards with Sections

Wizards make data entry simpler by breaking it into easy steps. However, when too many fields are added, forms can look cluttered.

Now, you can add sections inside Wizards to group related fields together. This makes the process clearer and faster for users entering customer data.

Omnichannel Engagement – Stay Connected Everywhere

Customer communication across multiple channels is the heart of CRM. Zoho has enhanced its omnichannel features to ensure businesses can stay connected without friction.

Email Features Now in Standard Edition

Previously available only in higher editions, key email tools are now accessible in Standard edition accounts, including:

  • Email Integration: POP3, IMAP, and Gmail API support.
  • MailMagnet: A consolidated notification panel for all incoming emails.
  • Email Sharing: Control how emails are shared with team members.
  • Zoho Mail Add-On Management: Backup and lock email accounts for deactivated users.
  • Email-Deal Linking: Automatically or manually connect emails to specific deals for better tracking.

Email Threads in Cases Module

The Cases module now displays email conversations in a thread view, so users can track all related emails for a case without switching between contacts or records.

Cadence Enhancements – Smarter Prospect Nurturing

Zoho’s Cadences have replaced traditional autoresponders, offering better control over automated follow-ups.

  • Unenrollment Rules: Define conditions to remove a prospect from a nurturing flow.
  • Restart or Resume Flows: Choose whether to start a follow-up sequence from scratch or continue from where it stopped.

Sunsetting Autoresponders

With Cadences offering a better approach to follow-ups, autoresponders will be discontinued on September 30, 2025. Businesses are encouraged to migrate their email workflows to Cadences as soon as possible.

Developer Space – Client Scripts on Demand

Developers can now trigger Client Scripts with a custom button. This gives flexibility to perform actions like:

  • Adding notes in bulk.

  • Importing product details from Zoho Sheet.

  • Sending targeted bulk emails.

  • Data Administration – Smarter Migrations

CRM admins will love the new upset operation with upsert resolutions, which allow partial data updates without disrupting existing records.

Additionally, skipped attachments can now be uploaded separately during migrations, saving hours of rework.

Expanded Translations

Zoho CRM now allows translations for web tabs, layouts, sections, wizards, and segments, making it easier for global teams to work in their preferred languages.

Looking Ahead

This quarter’s updates show how Zoho CRM continues to evolve for modern businesses. At PFC Group, we help our clients adopt these features, optimize their workflows, and make the most of every innovation Zoho offers.
